Expectations and challenges in new fields.

At my previous job, I was in charge of VR and mobile display panel sales at a major display company. When it was time for a new position, I wanted to work at a company that develops exciting new technologies that will help shape the future. Kyulux is an innovative startup company and I was very excited to start working there and be part of the TADF/Hyperfluorescence™ OLED revolution. It has been three years since I joined the company, and in this time, I got to work daily with people from other countries that different customs and ways of thinking. This was a bit challenging at first, but today I am enjoying the culture differences.

I am a coordinator that works with Kyulux’s customers

The FAE (Field Application Engineering) group, to which I belong, utilizes technical expertise to support sales. Specifically, as a customer contact, we provide various sales support including TADF material introduction, sample arrangement, contract management, and more.

In some cases, materials that performed very well in our own devices, do not show the same performance at our customers trials, and so we work with our R&D teams to make the necessary adjustments to help our customers achieve their performance goals. The FAE group coordinates between Kyulux’s R&D team and the customers, to make sure that both sides are happy.

At a startup company, my role is ever-changing, and I learn from new responsibilities

Kyulux has been a growing year by year compared to two years ago when I joined the company, and our roles and responsibilities change from time to time. Also, the role by each person changes, we and company need to take on new challenges.

Fortunately, Kyulux encourage us to adapt and acquire new skills and experiences. I feel that I am learning new things and growing as an employee and as a person and I am sure these skills will help me in the future.

It really helps to have a supportive and reliable manager, that I can count on to guide me when I need help. This gives me the drive and support to continue learning and developing as an employee. I feel that I can always share my feelings or doubts with my boss and he will be able to accept it and help me to focus on my work.

Supporting our customers in an efficient and timely manner

My professional goal is to put customers’ needs first, help them with both helpful suggestions and the implementation of these ideas. Since we at the FAE group interact directly with our customers, we believe that it is of utmost importance to provide our customers with whatever they may require, in the most quick and effective manner. On occasions when things go wrong, we work hard to correct things, and bring our customers the best possible value.

Being part of a team helps a lot, as there’s a limit to what any one person can do. We cooperate and work together to do the best work we can – I feel that this is my responsibility to our customers. Since I trust my superiors’ discretion regarding my day-today work, I can enjoy excellent work-life balance.

Kyulux is located in a nice place that there are beautiful beaches and mountains nearby. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, I have not been able to enjoy outside activities for a while, but I would like to go to diving and mountaineering when the situation permits.
