Kylux successfully raises 4.27 billion yen ($28.6 million USD), in its Series C funding round

Fukuoka, Japan, December 1, 2023- Kyulux, Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka, Japan) is pleased to announce that it has successfully closed its Series C fund raising with a total of 4.27 billion JPY (around $28.6 million USD) from several new and existing investors led by El Camino Capital and the MCP Group.

Kyulux had previously raised ¥8.6 billion JPY in series A, B and B-Prime financing rounds and the total amount of the financing is ¥12.7 billion JPY. Kyulux had successfully developed its promising OLED emitting technology Hyperfluorescence™ and began commercial shipment of TADF materials for the world’s first Hyperfluorescence™ display in 2020.

Kyulux will use the newly raised funds to further accelerate its product development, strengthen its IP portfolio and progress towards its system in cooperation with affiliated chemical companies, that will enable it to achieve full-scale mass production from 2025.
