Kyulux wins the Japan Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry JST Academic Startups Award

Fukuoka, Japan, July 29, 2019 – Kyulux Inc., a world leader in next generation of organic light emitting diode (OLED) HyperfluorescenceTM/TADF technology, today announced that it has won the prestigious Japan Science & Technology Agency award (JST University Venture Award) in which the most promising start-ups are chosen based on academic research outcomes. This award is meant to promote start-up and post-enterprise activities, and further support university-originated ventures from universities and companies.

Kyulux will share the award with Kyushu University and QB Capital, which has invested in Kyulux from its inception.

The award ceremony will take place at the “Innovation Japan 2019” event, in the Owme Exhibition hall B at Tokyo Big Sight (14:30 – 16:30, August 29). On August 30 (13:00 – 15:00 at the same location), a presentation and panel discussion (titled JOIC presents NEDO Dream Panel & Pitch) will be held. Kyulux’s CEO Junji Adachi will give a short presentation and participate in this panel discussion.

Kyulux will also have a booth at the exhibition during the “Innovation Japan 2019 University Fair & Business Meeting” (August 29-30). Kyulux’s booth (number uv-02) will be located at Exhibition Hall B. Kyulux welcomes all Innovation Japan 2019 attendees to visit our booth.
